Inforequest extension is a content plugin. It only works for Joomla! 1.5+.

How to use:

1. Download 'Inforequest' plugin file from download section
2. Install, review and modify parameters if necessary and enable plugin

How it works:

Once Inforequest tag is placed in an article ({inforequest} by default) the plugin will place a contact form in the position specified by the tag.

Site visitor can check the options (s)he is interested in and press submit button. Plugin will save these interests in a table and send article author an email including reader name and email, article title and options selected.

From now on, if user reads again the article the plugin will remind him/her the information request (s)he asked for, and date (if configured so). Once an option has been requested, it can´t be requested again so it will not show any option check.

Non logged-in users will be presented an invitation phrase to register and log-in so they can use the plugin (if configured so):

Planned to do:

• Change "plain HTML" and simple implementation to some javascript and ajax to be visually more atractive and more comfortable to use.
• A module so every user can see a list of  her last "requested articles" and a component for authors to administer info requests on their articles.
• Implementation of tag parameters so authors can choose texts and any other options on a per article basis.
